Collection: Vincent Smith

Vincent Smith is a full time artist from Dublin, where he has his studio.

​He studied at the National College of Art & Design (NCAD) in his earlier years. After many years working in various roles in industry, he has returned to formal art training and has completed a number of advanced oil painting courses in various colleges and institutions.

​Vincent’s working career in the IT and financial services industries interrupted his dedication to art and painting, and he has now returned with passion to full time painting.

​Vincent is an award-winning artist who has exhibited in a large number of group and solo exhibitions over the past few years, including the annual open exhibitions of the Royal Hibernian Academy, Royal Ulster Academy, Dublin Art Society and Dublin Painting & Sketching Club. He recently held solo exhibitions of his works during major Arts festivals and shows.

Vincent also exhibits in a number of galleries throughout Ireland. His artwork is exhibited in many private collections across Ireland, UK and Germany. At a recent Royal Ulster Academy exhibition, the NI Arts Council purchased one of his works for display in Stormont.

He is a member of both the Dublin Painting and Sketching Club and the Dublin Art Society.

​His preferred medium is oil on canvas. He has also produced many watercolours, pastels and mixed media figurative works, including designs for published book covers.
